Los Angeles is definitely a place that all the fashion bloggers I follow on Instagram visit frequently. Along with Paris, Milan, and New York, LA is one of the most important cities for fashion. It has all the major tourist attractions, historic sites, beautiful scenery, and millions of visitors continually coming to it. LA is the third most photographed city according to Instagram.

1. Great Weather

Another of LA's great features is its weather. The bright sunny skies make it a very appealing to take pictures of any time of the year. The light and warm weather is a mood booster and it's something that people always remember long after they visited the city.

2. Amazing Food

There are limitless new restaurants to explore, whether it be in a unique neighborhood or a classic LA spot. Because Los Angeles is home to diverse communities, the restaurant scene is also diverse. There is a mix of innovative and cross-cultural cooking spanning all types of cuisines. New cafes and restaurants open almost daily.

3. No Filter Needed

LA is full of sunlight and has endless beautiful moments during golden hour. Because of this, no one needs to use a filter. Natural light in the city is one of its best features as it enhances people, streets, food, and landscapes.

4. Outdoor Activities

You can hike in LA and get amazing views of the Hollywood sign. Nothing beats driving down the coast, the feeling of the ocean breeze through the windows, and the fun of relaxing on the beach for a few hours.

For many, including many of the celebrities that live in the area, Runyon Canyon in the Hollywood Hills and Griffith Observatory are popular hiking spots. They provide fresh air, expansive views of the city, and a quintessential LA experience that should definitely be on your list.

Counting the “Urban Light” installation at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, there are many popular locations for photography in Los Angeles. That has made it quite a recognizable landmark across the globe.

Another thing that makes Los Angeles unique is its street art. It's common to see beautifully painted walls that turn into popular canvas for photographers and bloggers.

Aside from studio tours, Los Angeles has a lot more to offer. Hollywood Boulevard, Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood Hills, Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, and other locations provide the opportunity to visit the setting of many films and television shows. These streets instantly bring recognition.

LA residents tend to avoid the tourist attractions like Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood, the author believes that Universal Studios can be enjoyed in an afternoon, assuming you arrive early enough to avoid the crowds.

10. Unique Buildings

Los Angeles is home to many amazing buildings in a variety of architectural styles, such as Art Deco and futuristic Googie. Don't forget to check out the Eastern Columbia Building in the Historic District of Downtown LA.

11. A Difficult Hike to the Hollywood Sign

Hiking is an essential part of getting incredible views in Los Angeles. Getting to the back of the Hollywood Sign requires solid physical condition, especially in summer. Some parts have limited shade, so plan your trip accordingly with plenty of water and sugar.
