Angels Flight

In La La Land, Angels Flight is one of the locations where Mia and Sebastian are fictional characters who share a romantic date and kiss in one of the wooden cars.

Angels Flight is a railway that began service in 1901 and is claimed to be the shortest in the world. Riding one of the vintage, orange and black cabins that are lined with wood is an experience that is part of old Los Angeles.

Lodging prices in Hollywood near The Walk of Fame, the TCL Chinese Theatre, and Sunset Boulevard are less concentrated than in Downtown, but still widely available. Where to eat: Grand Central Market is the obvious choice. There are lots of places to eat downtown and in the area around Angels Flight and the Bradbury Building. That area is a particularly strong food stop. It is more interesting than your average tourist food court with chain restaurants. You have a mix of established favorites and small, unassuming eateries.

There is less accommodation just outside Universal Studios compared to the area around the Hollywood Walk of Fame which has hotels in a wide range of prices. Food: Disney California Adventure and the film themed Universal park both offer decent dining options and dedicated dining areas although they do not offer fine dining experiences and the price of the food is quite high. Route Planning: 1. Both parks should be treated as full day destinations. 2. Disneyland is a simple addition as it is located in the same resort area as Disney California Adventure Los Angeles Shopping.
